Blocked Baths

Blocked Baths from Drain Unblockers Connect

If your bath takes ages to empty or will not drain at all, the trap or waste pipe is almost certainly choked with hair and soap scum. Shop-bought chemicals rarely shift it and can damage plastic waste pipes. We clear the waste mechanically, flush it through and check the outlet run is clear down to the stack.

AdviceTips & tricks to keep drains clear before autumn

• Hair and soap scum removed, not just pushed further
• Trap, waste and stack checked
• Tidy, respectful engineers

Our blocked baths service

Why Baths Block

Hair binds with soap residue, bath oils and limescale to form a dense mat inside the trap and waste. Every bath adds a little more until water barely drains.

Our Approach

We remove and clean the trap where accessible, then use flexible machine cables or low-pressure jetting to clear the waste pipe through to the soil stack, leaving no residue behind.

Keeping It Clear

A simple hair catcher over the plughole and a monthly flush with hot water will keep most bath wastes flowing. We are happy to advise on site.
