Blocked Sinks

Blocked Sinks from Drain Unblockers Connect

Kitchen sinks block because fat, oil and food scraps cool and solidify in the waste pipe. Bathroom basins usually block with hair and toothpaste residue. Either way we clear the waste, check the external gully it discharges to, and make sure the whole run is flowing before we leave.

Our blocked sinks service

Kitchen Sink Blockages

Grease is the main culprit. It coats the inside of the pipe and traps food particles until the bore narrows to nothing. We jet the waste to remove the coating, not just the plug.

Bathroom & Utility Sinks

Hair, cosmetics, lint from washing machines and limescale gradually restrict basin and utility wastes. We clear the traps and pipework back to the drain.

Outside Gullies

Many sink wastes discharge into a yard gully that silts up with grease and leaves. We empty and jet these as part of the job.
